Tiffany has been a dedicated healthcare professional since 2006, with extensive experience as a float nurse across various specialties, including ER, post-surgical, orthopedic, mother-baby, pediatrics, and med-surgical units. In 2015, she advanced her career by becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and in 2020 became a Full Practice Authority NP in Illinois.

 

Tiffany holds an MSN in Nursing Leadership from the University of St. Francis and her FNP Post-Master's Certificate from Olivet Nazarene University.  Her foundational education includes an undergraduate degree in Biology from Illinois State University and her health career journey began with her Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from William Rainey Harper College.

Tiffany’s approach to healthcare is rooted in empowerment and education to advocate for one’s own health. She believes that demystifying the complexities of the healthcare system is essential for individuals to make informed decisions about their well-being. With a focus on preventative care, Tiffany encourages lifestyle modifications and regular screenings to reduce the risk of chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and peripheral vascular disease.

She believes that accessing healthcare shouldn’t be complicated or intimidating. Personalized and accessible care is vital, and Nursing Decoded offers individualized attention with flexible access outside of normal business hours. This approach ensures that patients feel supported and equipped with the knowledge to manage their daily and long term health concerns effectively while receiving the care they need on their terms.

Outside of her professional life, Tiffany finds joy in a variety of activities that reflect her belief in making the most of every moment. She is the proud mother of three teenage/adult sons and spends her time crocheting, traveling, photography (many photos featured on the website are her own), reading, and embracing the outdoors. Tiffany values disconnecting from social media to fully appreciate the simple, beautiful moments life has to offer. She believes that life is too short not to seize every opportunity for joy !
